Fuller hair

As someone who has had quite a bit of hair fall out, due to my general enthusiasm with home dye jobs that involve bleach, I was excited to try the DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum, which is supposed to fight hair loss and boost the holding power of the hair. You’re supposed to use this just about daily, and I found this to be easy to integrate into my routine.
Simply section your hair into four parts, then use one dose per region. I like that this doesn’t feel uncomfortable on the scalp, and that it does seem like my hair looks fuller, with more body. This has been a successful product to try and I would recommend this!

After using Vichy booster hair serum for months, I noticed my hair texture is getting thicker especially the hair shedding is minimized to the point where it looks more thicker. Also, it added shine and fresh scent. My hair looks glossy without looking greasy and smell great. Overall, my hair feels healthier and looks more polished. It’s a low cost solution for hair loss and I recommend to anyone who has experienced hair thinning or hair breakage like myself.

A secret weapon for healthier hair!

After experiencing significant postpartum hair loss, I was really impressed with the difference this made to my hair. After using it consistently for a month, I noticed less hair fall and my hair felt healthier, stronger and more resilient overall. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product as directed for around a month and I have noticed the hair loss is significantly less. I use to have to vacuum my floors daily and empty my hairbrush weekly but since using this product, I have hardly had to pick up all those stray hairs everywhere. I am absolutely amazed at how this product actually works. It has a beautiful smell and you cannot feel it in your hair. I preferred to use it on wet hair and dry it in, as I wash my hair daily. I had a salon treatment in the month using and this product did not affect the colours. Day 4 I noticed a small itch on my scalp but it passed and I had no other worries. I would 100% recommend this product and I will continue to buy it.

Good alternative to minoxidil

While I enjoyed the product, I have seen better results using minoxidil serums and likely will return to use that, however, that is not to say that this is not a good product. For someone looking for an aminexil alternative to minoxidil, this is a high quality option, albeit priced quite highly. It did not leave my hair feeling greasy, although you do need to use quite a bit of product to achieve the desired benefits espoused by the box.

I’m on my second bottle and more than halfway through it, but I haven’t noticed any difference. It also makes my hair feel dirty and oily, even right after washing. I use the shampoo and con from Vichy as well

Smells amazing and nourished my hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sceptical, as a 2C/3A wavy haired girl with fine hair - this product is made me for me!; but as always serums and oils run the risk of being too heavy.
The booster is suprisingly not greasy, I tried using it on fresh clean hair, wet hair and the night before a wash and I think the latter is the best use for my hair type. The serum has a gucci bloom style scent, it's easy to massage in and leaves my scalp feeling not too greasy. Because of my waves I found it hard to brush through, but I did work out it worked best for me as an overnight treatment. I also used less product and less often and found I have had less hair fall in the shower! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to boost your hair strength.

After applying wasn’t oily or greasy it just made my hair feel fresh and clean.

Amazing hair serum!

The bottle is big with a big dispenser actually. The texture of the serum is pretty thin and it’s get absorbed very quickly. No sticky stuff! It doesn’t weigh down my thin hair either. I noticed a beautiful glow post use. It does have a little fragrance which I actually like it. It might be an issue for sensitive nose people. However, the fragrance faded away quickly after. I have noticed multiple baby hairs on my scalp since I am using it. I’m going to use it continuously for the next few weeks to see more positive results for my thin hair . Overall, I’m impressed and would love to recommend it to everyone.

I haven't noticed any change really besides my hair becoming a bit oily from using it. I am still having a noticeable amount of hair fall even using it as the directions say. In saying that the product itself is nice to apply the applicator is very user friendly and a great design. I will continue to use the product until it is empty in the hopes I have the result of less hair loss and it states it does.

A delightful treat for my oily and thin hair

I have quite oily hair, and I didn't feel like it weighed it down after it dried; this was really surprising to me. If I wanted to speed up the process and dry it off a little with the hairdryer, this didn't seem to impact my hair either. It does tend to stay wet on my hair for quite some time, but this is typical for my hair type. My hair loss each wash time is minimal. I feel like I'm giving my hair a treat with this serum, and the application system was less messy than anticipated. I was concerned that it might be hard to target the roots, but the dropper system was easy to manage. Whilst it has been a short trial time, I am very happy with this product so far and would purchase it for myself again.

Excellent - but too strong in fragrance

I have been using this for around 4 weeks now, and while I have noticed some new growth - which is exciting, and it feels nice on my scalp. The bottle is large, and the consistency is lovely - but I can’t get past how strong the fragrance is. If the fragrance was less potent and disappeared after a little while I would be more inclined to purchase this, however, it’s not the case with this. Excellent product and result for someone who likes bold scents in their haircare.

I haven't noticed a difference in hair fall, but I didn't have a problem with that to begin with. What I am noticing is fuller hair at the roots and thicker hair once styled. I have oily hair that is fine and flat and this product didn’t weigh my hair down at all, although it can feel a little bit stiff once dried. I’m excited to see how it continues to grow and whether it continues to thicken my hair. Great product overall so far.

I have noticed such a difference in the overall strength of my hair. Where I would normally experience a lot of hair-fall during brushing and styling, that has dramatically decreased. Even when shampooing in the shower I would notice a lot of hair-fall, but since using the Booster Serum that has decreased greatly. The thinness I've been self-conscious of around my hair line has improved too, with new growth and thicker hair coming in, which I'm so grateful for. Overall, my hair is thicker, healthier and stronger which ticks all the boxes I've been looking at treating. Highly recommend introducing this serum into your routine.

My hair, which is naturally thin and straight, had stopped growing due to hormonal issues and medication.
My hair was becoming finer and I was losing hair each day - it was simply everywhere. I was happy to find a product that would assist with this issue.
Since trialling the product, my hair feels thicker, is actually growing again and I'm growing new hair around the hairline - white hairs but that still counts!
I quite like the fragrance and it has a cooling sensation during application. I apply it directly to my scalp before bedtime as directed.
My hair is looking much healthier and feel the cost of this product is worth the price. I would be happy to purchase this item and continue usage.
The packaging looks classy and the bottle is heavy. The dropper is easy to use and it is easy to apply

Smells amazing, no residue, gives nice volume too

I just finished my second bottle and about to start my third. I have thin/fine bleached dry hair with years of extension use so I chopped my strangely hair and am on a hair glow up. I've noticed a significant improvement with my hairs density/fullness. Because my hairs short and don't have a very large head I can get away with 2 syringes instead the 4 it recommends.

Great serum

Hair growth but strong smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using the Dercos Aminexil Regen Booster Serum after experiencing quite a lot of postpartum hair shedding. I have naturally fine hair, so the amount of hair I was losing when washing and brushing was particularly noticeable. After using the serum consistently, I’ve definitely noticed less shedding, which has been the biggest positive for me and exactly what I was hoping for.
I have found the formula a little heavier and greasier than I expected for my fine hair, particularly if I use too much. I’ve had better results applying a smaller amount directly to my scalp rather than being too generous. The fragrance is also quite strong for my personal preference, and I’d definitely prefer something more subtle.
Despite those drawbacks, I’m really pleased with the reduction in shedding and will continue using it. Postpartum hair loss can be frustrating, especially with fine hair, so seeing a noticeable difference has been really encouraging. Overall, I think it’s worth trying if you’re experiencing increased hair shedding, just be mindful of the amount you apply if you have fine hair.

I just dropped a few drops into each section of the part and then massaged it through and then brushed it through. I have tried similar products before and found that they had a strange smell, DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum had no real smell. Prior to starting to use DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum I had, had a baby and my body was worn and my hair was falling out. It had lost its shine and health and vitality. I have curly long hair and it became noticeable that my hair was thinning. I used DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum and found towards the end of 10
Weeks my hair had stopped falling out. Its dull appearance was gone replaced with healthy curls that didn’t feel brittle.
I was very happy with the product. I would recommend it to anyone that’s suffering similar issues. As it really did work. At 44 with a baby and two older kids I don’t get much time to myself but spending a little more time on the DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum routine really paid off.

I mainly wanted to try it because my hair has been feeling a little thinner and I’ve noticed more breakage than I’d like. I can’t say it magically transformed my hair overnight, but with consistent use my scalp feels healthier and my hair seems to have a little more strength and body. Lightweight, non-greasy

The texture is what stands out most. It's genuinely lightweight and absorbs quickly, with no oily or sticky residue on the scalp, which is a big plus for anyone who dislikes heavy hair products. It's easy to apply directly to the roots and doesn't leave hair looking weighed down or greasy. Loved the fragrance too!

A Disappointing Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I haven't noticed a reduction in my hair fall while using this. I was hoping to see a noticeable improvement in my hair shedding, but so far I haven't experienced the results I was expecting.
Another issue I've noticed is how the product affects the texture of my hair. Although the serum itself feels lightweight on the scalp, it makes my roots feel quite stiff once applied and it has dried. This has made my hair more difficult to brush and noticeably harder to heat style with a hair straightener. Instead of leaving my hair feeling soft and easy to manage, my roots feel less flexible.
Overall, while I appreciate the fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula and the inclusion of ingredients such as aminexil, ginger extract and niacinamide, my personal experience hasn't been particularly positive. I haven't noticed a reduction in hair fall and the stiffness it creates at the roots is a significant drawback for me because it makes brushing and styling more difficult.
For me, the product hasn't delivered the results I was hoping for, particularly given that it's main purpose is to address hair fall. My experience may differ from other users, but based on my results, I would be unlikely to repurchase it.

After applying wasn’t oily or greasy it just made my hair feel fresh and clean.

Amazing hair serum!

The bottle is big with a big dispenser actually. The texture of the serum is pretty thin and it’s get absorbed very quickly. No sticky stuff! It doesn’t weigh down my thin hair either. I noticed a beautiful glow post use. It does have a little fragrance which I actually like it. It might be an issue for sensitive nose people. However, the fragrance faded away quickly after. I have noticed multiple baby hairs on my scalp since I am using it. I’m going to use it continuously for the next few weeks to see more positive results for my thin hair . Overall, I’m impressed and would love to recommend it to everyone.

I haven't noticed any change really besides my hair becoming a bit oily from using it. I am still having a noticeable amount of hair fall even using it as the directions say. In saying that the product itself is nice to apply the applicator is very user friendly and a great design. I will continue to use the product until it is empty in the hopes I have the result of less hair loss and it states it does.

I have quite oily hair, and I didn't feel like it weighed it down after it dried; this was really surprising to me. If I wanted to speed up the process and dry it off a little with the hairdryer, this didn't seem to impact my hair either. It does tend to stay wet on my hair for quite some time, but this is typical for my hair type. My hair loss each wash time is minimal. I haven't noticed a difference in hair fall, but I didn't have a problem with that to begin with. What I am noticing is fuller hair at the roots and thicker hair once styled. I have noticed such a difference in the overall strength of my hair. Where I would normally experience a lot of hair-fall during brushing and styling, that has dramatically decreased. Even when shampooing in the shower I would notice a lot of hair-fall, but since using the Booster Serum that has decreased greatly. The thinness I've been self-conscious of around my hair line has improved too, with new growth and thicker hair coming in, which I'm so grateful for. My hair, which is naturally thin and straight, had stopped growing due to hormonal issues and medication.
My hair was becoming finer and I was losing hair each day - it was simply everywhere. I was happy to find a product that would assist with this issue.
Since trialling the product, my hair feels thicker, is actually growing again and I'm growing new hair around the hairline - white hairs but that still counts!
I quite like the fragrance and it has a cooling sensation during application. I apply it directly to my scalp before bedtime as directed.
My hair is looking much healthier and feel the cost of this product is worth the price. I would be happy to purchase this item and continue usage.
The packaging looks classy and the bottle is heavy. The dropper is easy to use and it is easy to apply

I just finished my second bottle and about to start my third. I have thin/fine bleached dry hair with years of extension use so I chopped my strangely hair and am on a hair glow up. I've noticed a significant improvement with my hairs density/fullness. Because my hairs short and don't have a very large head I can get away with 2 syringes instead the 4 it recommends.

Hair growth but strong smell

I have naturally fine hair, so the amount of hair I was losing when washing and brushing was particularly noticeable. After using the serum consistently, I’ve definitely noticed less shedding, which has been the biggest positive for me and exactly what I was hoping for.
I have found the formula a little heavier and greasier than I expected for my fine hair, particularly if I use too much. I’ve had better results applying a smaller amount directly to my scalp rather than being too generous. The fragrance is also quite strong for my personal preference, and I’d definitely prefer something more subtle.
Despite those drawbacks, I’m really pleased with the reduction in shedding and will continue using it. Postpartum hair loss can be frustrating, especially with fine hair, so seeing a noticeable difference has been really encouraging. Overall, I think it’s worth trying if you’re experiencing increased hair shedding, just be mindful of the amount you apply if you have fine hair.

I just dropped a few drops into each section of the part and then massaged it through and then brushed it through. I have tried similar products before and found that they had a strange smell, DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum had no real smell. Prior to starting to use DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum I had, had a baby and my body was worn and my hair was falling out. It had lost its shine and health and vitality. I have curly long hair and it became noticeable that my hair was thinning. I used DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum and found towards the end of 10
Weeks my hair had stopped falling out. Its dull appearance was gone replaced with healthy curls that didn’t feel brittle.
I was very happy with the product. I would recommend it to anyone that’s suffering similar issues. As it really did work. At 44 with a baby and two older kids I don’t get much time to myself but spending a little more time on the DERCOS Aminexil Regen Booster Serum routine really paid off.

I mainly wanted to try it because my hair has been feeling a little thinner and I’ve noticed more breakage than I’d like. I can’t say it magically transformed my hair overnight, but with consistent use my scalp feels healthier and my hair seems to have a little more strength and body. I’ve also noticed less hair coming out when I brush, although I think consistency is key with a product like this.

Overall, while I appreciate the fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula and the inclusion of ingredients such as aminexil, ginger extract and niacinamide, my personal experience hasn't been particularly positive. I haven't noticed a reduction in hair fall and the stiffness it creates at the roots is a significant drawback for me because it makes brushing and styling more difficult.
For me, the product hasn't delivered the results I was hoping for, particularly given that it's main purpose is to address hair fall. My experience may differ from other users, but based on my results, I would be unlikely to repurchase it.
No, I do not recommend this product.
